How To Use Thyme Tea To Get Rid Of Fibromyalgia Pain

Fibromyalgia is a non-inflammatory disorder manifested by chronic pain spread throughout the body. Pain is accentuated by pressure and is accompanied by cognitive dysfunction, sleep disturbances, anxiety, depression and chronic fatigue. Fibromyalgia is a disease of the joints, but it is not characterized by articular swelling.

Swelling can occur only in cases of people already suffering from rheumatic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. This condition can be prevented with the help of natural treatments, and some teas may reduce pain considerably.
Tea is the second popular drink in the world after coffee. How about trying thyme tea to alleviate joint pain?

Thyme has a number of medicinal properties that combat and cure certain diseases. Among these, thyme attenuates the pain caused by lupus, fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic fatigue, or vertigo.

You need
– a handful of dry thyme
– one liter of water

Put the thyme in the water and wait until it boils. You can use tea in different forms. You can make thyme tea compresses to massage areas where you feel the pain or you can drink it, but necessarily on an empty stomach or before 2 to 3 hours before eating. After drinking thyme tea, it is good to rest at least 10 minutes for antioxidants to take effect. Do not eat anything immediately after drinking thyme tea: abdominal cramps or bloating may occur.
