Cracked heels are far from being just an aesthetic problem. When the feet skin is excessively dry, under the influence of a cumulus of factors, deep and painful cracks may occur which require careful care.
Everyone has heard of the beneficial effects of lemon juice, which is used as a remedy in treating and preventing many health problems, but few know that the peel of this fruit has therapeutic effect. If you have cracked heels, the lemon peel may be more effective than several ointments that promise heel skin repair.
All you have to do is cut the lemon in half and squeeze the lemon juice. Then place to each heel the lemon half, and put a pair of socks on. Let the lemon act for an hour and a half, and then remove the peel and apply marigold moisturizer or coconut oil. The effects will be visible if you apply this treatment 2-3 times a week.
