Stinky feet happen due to poor hygiene or excessive feet sweat that leads to moisture – the perfect environment for bacteria development.
But you have a number of natural remedies that you can use to get rid of feet sweat and, implicitly, the nasty and unpleasant odor it causes.
For satisfying results, it is not enough to try a particularly natural remedy only once, you should apply it several times. That’s why, if you don’t want to use chemicals, we advise you to be armed with patience in your fight against stinky feet.
This is one of the simplest and most effective treatments for stinky feet. It neutralizes the pH of sweat and reduces the number of bacteria, which eliminates unpleasant smell. Add baking soda in warm water (1 tablespoon for every 250 ml of water) and soften your feet in this solution for 15 or 20 minutes. In a week you should get rid of the bad smell of your feet.
Tip: You can sprinkle baking soda inside your shoes, sneakers or socks before wearing them.
Feet sweating, is no longer a problem if you use this simple natural remedy because it creates an acidic environment in which bacteria can’t survive. Any type of vinegar is good in this sense, but apple is particularly effective.
Prepare a solution as follows: add half a cup of vinegar to 6 – 8 cups of hot water. When it comes to a bearable temperature, wash your feet in the liquid for 15 minutes. Afterwards, it will be necessary to wash the feet so that the smell of vinegar will disappear.
